Pusha T sat down with Complex to talk about a slew of topics including his favorite Cruel Summer tracks saying his favorite “didn’t make the album”. He also discussed his upcoming Solo album,  his new single Pain, Chicago’s rap scene and more.

“My favorite record was probably records that didn’t make the album. People don’t know there were records where Common was rapping over—like, we had Common rapping on strip club records. Do you know how great that shit was? That shit was so good that it was like—it’s annoyingthat I don’t know if people will ever hear this shit.”

I’m not quite sure why CyHi was featured over Common and Pusha. This is largely why the album was viewed as a disappointment by most fans.

True, but that CyHi verse on The Morning is one of the best on the record.

I agree with matt I support most GOOD Music artists and projects but I was disappointed Common didnt have any spotlight … Common and Ye have made some classic tracks in the past
